V12 is a unified trading protocol that combines spot and perpetual markets into a single on-chain CLOB engine. Built on Fuel, it offers low-latency, gas-efficient execution with shared infrastructure for both types of trading — powered by the same matching logic, accounts system, and data pipeline. Every trade — whether spot or perp — is submitted via the same on-chain interface, matched via off-chain executors, and settled with a shared balance system that supports margin and funding logic. This tight integration enables real-time settlement, cross-margining, and streamlined user experience — all within one smart-contract system and one interface. V12 runs fully on-chain with off-chain matchers, oracle integrations, real-time indexing, and a custom SDK for builders.
